The Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NSNP) Skilled Worker Category for in-demand occupations has been in operation since 2019, now entering its fourth year. This program primarily targets applicants in NOC C and D occupations, and it does not require employers to apply for an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment). Furthermore, it doesn't demand that immigration applicants have worked for the employer for at least six months. In November 2021, three new occupations were added to this category, making it possible for applicants in nursing, food service, cleaning, transportation, construction, and related occupations to apply for Canadian immigration through this program.
