The Nova Scotia Experience Express Entry stream is intended for highly skilled individuals who have accumulated at least 12 months of work experience in Nova Scotia and are willing to settle permanently in the province. The requirements for applicants under this stream include:
- Age between 21 and 55 years old.
- At least 12 months of full-time (1560 hours) or equivalent part-time work experience in Nova Scotia within the 3 years before submitting the application (NOC 0, 1, 2, or 3).
- Work hours are counted from the time when the applicant was legally authorized to work in Canada (work experience obtained prior to graduation is not included).
- Education level of at least high school or its equivalent from Canada, with non-Canadian credentials requiring an ECA assessment.
- Meeting language requirements:
NOC 0 or 1 positions: CLB 7 or higher in English or French proficiency (IELTS General - Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, each not lower than 6).
NOC 2 or 3 positions: CLB 5 or higher in English or French proficiency (IELTS General - Listening and Speaking each not lower than 5, Writing not lower than 5, Reading not lower than 4).
- Willingness to settle permanently in Nova Scotia and contribute to the province's economic development.
Employer Qualification Requirements:
- The company must be registered and operating within Nova Scotia.
- The employer's business must have been in normal operation for at least two years at the start of employment.
